Climate Change Exhibition at the Center for Fine Art Photography
A new piece titled, Fallen Pine Boughs, was chosen for “This Changing Planet”, an exhibition about climate change at the Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, CO. The exhibition was juried by Laura Beltrán Villamizar, Photo Editor and Founder of Native Agency and the Projects Picture Editor and Creative Director for NPR, and is on view from December 9, 2019-April 4, 2020.

My Vanishing Points project is featured in an excellent essay written by Katherine McCarthy in the Summer 2019 Issue of Focal Plane Magazine. I also contributed two articles for the issue, including a feature on current West Virginia University School of Art and Design MFA candidate, Raymond Thompson Jr.’s, work and another on the School of Art and Design’s Global Positioning Studies initiative.
Vanishing Points in the American West - Part Four
In early April 2019, I spent a week exploring and photographing sites throughout North Dakota, covering nearly 2,000 miles and culminating in a visiting artist presentation at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND. I was nearly blown away in the wide open landscape and narrowly dodged a spring squall that dumped 8 inches of snow. Images from this fourth expedition in the American West are slowly being added to the Vanishing Points page.
Juliet Art Museum Invitational Exhibition at Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences
Two pieces from my new series, Buried, were chosen for the first Juliet Art Museum Invitational Exhibition at the Clay Center for the Arts & Sciences in Charleston, WV. The exhibition runs March 21st-June 16th with an opening reception on March 21st from 7:30-9:30 pm and a closing reception on June 8th from 4-6:00 pm.

A piece from my new series, Buried, is traveling to Athens, OH for 2, 3, 4: Dimensional Photographies, a biennial juried exhibition of alternative photography organized by Ohio University’s MFA Photography + Integrated Media department. The exhibition runs January 22-March 2, 2019.
