In August I spent 10 days visiting 15 rivers in the recently protected, and very remote, Upper Snake River Watershed in Northwestern Wyoming. The video recordings, audio recordings and still images will be used in a large-scale installation at The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho in May 2015 for the exhibition: The Upper Snake River, Three Photographic Approaches to the Snake River Watershed.
I have been awarded a West Virginia University Senate Grant for a new multimedia project based on the Upper Snake River Watershed. The work will debut in summer 2015 at The Art Museum of Eastern Idaho in a large three-person exhibition titled, The Upper Snake River: Three Photographic Approaches to the Snake River Watershed.
My piece, Three Moons, from the Constellations Series was chosen for the juried exhibition, Enigmatic Object. The exhibition will run from March 7-28, 2014 at Johalla Projects in Chicago, IL. The exhibition was juried by Kyohei Abe, Director of the Detroit Center for Contemporary Photography and Chicago based artist, writer and curator, Caroline Picard.
